Karen A. McGuinness
Karen A. McGuinness is an associate with the firm and concentrates her practice in civil litigation, including commercial and Chancery matters, personal injury defense, insurance coverage, and non-profit corporation litigation.
She is a 1988 graduate of Ithaca College, where she received a bachelor's degree in Accounting. She received her law degree from Temple University Law School in 1991. While at Temple Law School, Mrs. McGuinness was a quarterfinalist in the National Trial Competition, and was the recipient of the Most Promising Civil Litigator Award and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers' Murray S. Love Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
Mrs. McGuinness was admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 1991. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She is a member of the American, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Camden County, and Gloucester County Bar Associations, as well as the National Association of Women Lawyers.
In addition to her other professional activities, Mrs. McGuinness is an instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) and has coached Temple Law School trial teams in various competitions.
Mrs. McGuinness was born in Trenton, New Jersey in 1966.
