Stephen J. DeFeo

Stephen J. DeFeo is a partner with the firm. He concentrates his practice in complex litigation including commercial litigation, product liability claims, asbestos actions, and personal injury matters.

Mr. DeFeo represents organizations such as AAF-McQuay Inc., Glen-Gery Corporation, and SAP America, Inc., United States Surgical Corporation and Fulton Bank of New Jersey.

Mr. DeFeo graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in 1982. He earned his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 1985. After law school, Mr. DeFeo served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable James D. Clyne and the Honorable Peter J. Giovine of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Ocean County.

Mr. DeFeo was admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 1985. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He has also served as a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Character since 1996. He is a member of the American, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Camden County, and Ocean County Bar Associations.

Mr. DeFeo was born in Kingsville, Texas in 1960.
