Brown & Connery's creditors' rights and bankruptcy attorneys primarily represent creditors in federal district bankruptcy courts, as well as in New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Courts.

The firm's creditors' rights attorneys represent secured and unsecured creditors in business matters as well as litigation. We advise our clients with respect to their rights and obligations under state law and, specifically, debtor/creditor laws. Our attorneys assist creditors in the enforcement of rights including breach of contract, replevin, work-out agreements and the collection and enforcement of domestic and foreign judgments.

The firm's bankruptcy attorneys represent secured creditors, governmental agencies and trade and other creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. We advise our clients of their rights and obligations under the Bankruptcy Code. Our attorneys are knowledgeable in all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings, from the filing of the petition through the confirmation of the plan or the discharge of a debtor. Specifically, our attorneys have extensive experience in issues related to obtaining relief from provisions of the automatic stay, the discharge of debtors, preferential transfers, fraudulent conveyances, enforcement of rights under executory contracts and leases, administrative expense priorities, claim objections, and opposition to plan and disclosure statements.
